Impact Metrics

Over 90% of India’s workforce is employed in the informal sector, spread across complex supply chains that fuel industries but often leave workers without rights, protections, or representation. Project ShramShakti exists to change this reality—by advocating for systemic fairness and using digital tools to empower workers directly.

Our Impact Variables We track empowerment not only in outreach but in tangible change across workers’ lives. Our key indicators include:

1. Awareness of Rights – % of workers who can identify their basic labor rights and entitlements.

2. Digital Access & Literacy – # of workers using our multilingual digital tools and resources.

3. Health & Safety Adoption – # of factories/workers implementing safety checklists and reporting unsafe conditions.

4. Financial Inclusion – # of workers opening bank accounts, accessing subsidies, or improving savings practices.

5. Policy & Advocacy Reach – # of campaigns run, petitions supported, and policy dialogues engaged.

6. Community Networks Built – # of partnerships with NGOs, unions, and local worker groups.

7. Resolution of Grievances – cases of wage recovery, legal aid access, or conflict resolution supported through ShramShakti.

Looking Ahead By 2026, we aim to:

● Digitally empower 10,000+ workers across major industrial hubs.

● Expand our platform into 5 regional languages.

● Establish advocacy campaigns in at least 3 high-risk industries (textiles, construction, and manufacturing).
